"The ceiling fell in and the bottom fell out. I went into a spin and I started to shout 'I've been hit! This is it!'..."

I've been talking in third person for the past two days, it's really annoying and I'm going to attempt to not do it to save Katie's sanity and my life.

So this is going to be a reallllly condensed version of the past week or so, since I clearly suck at updating.

Friday:
School, then Brian picked me up. He took me back to my house so I could finish packing. Then we went and hung out at EvaS's, we left around 9 or so? Then we stopped at Britney Cox's and hung out there with her and Paul. That was fun. Then he dropped me off at EvaC's.

Saturday:
Woke up around 5:30? Fun stuff. Piled in the car and headed down to NYC. It was soooo foggy. Beautiful. We got to the city and stopped to get our Wedding Singer rush tickets. Then headed to the hotel to check in. We got lunch at the place in the hotel. That was fun.

Dave: Can I have a Mountian Dew?
Waiter: No. Diet Coke, Sprite, Lemonade. *walks away*.
Dave: .....

Then Jake, Eva, Dave and I headed on our way. We started walking because Dave wanted to go see Chelsea. Mrs. Casey told us she thought it started around 48th street. Our hotel was on 54th (?) so we just started walking. We stopped at Armani and Sephora. On our way we ran into these two guys who were trying to see us their CD. It was an expirience. The first guy said something like "We don't want you to think we're going to rob you or anything, we just want you to hear our music." And I tried to tell them that I had no money or I would (true) but Eva told them we didn't have the time, so he was kind of mad. But at one point they did the whole ghetto handshake thing, and that made me feel cool lol. But they tried to talk to Dave again, and he was sort of rude, so when we started walking away, Eva heard them say "White people never change." So that was...fun lol.

After that, and 20 blocks of walking to find Chelsea, which, by the way, starts around 14th street, not 48th, we went to the Broadway Dance Center so the three of them could take a class. There we met up with Eva's friend/CMU roomie Courtney. They danced to this song by Natalie Cole called "Orange Colored Sky" which I am now curently in love with. While they danced, I tried not to sleep, but when I was awake, I watched them which was fun.

After that, we went back to the hotel to shower/change, and then we went to dinner, which was fun. Then we went to see the Wedding Singer, which was awesome. Completely amazing. Fantastic. Gah, I loved it. We stage doored after that of course. Which was awesome. Stephen Lynch is pretty damn hott in person. After that, Dave, Eva and I walked home. Holy awful at directions, Batman! Yeeaaahh. We went the wrong way 5 times, ended up back at the wedding singer and finally landed back at the hotel around 12:30?

Sunday:
Woke up on time but left a little late. It was raining so Eva and I bought ourselves some handy umbrellas. We walked to this cute little restaraunt for lunch. Wonderful food. While walking I got two good pictures. (1 & 2) Then we went on our escapade to find a subway. When we finally found one, we asked the guy which one to get on and he said the D or the E, so Eva and I pick the E since it's a better letter. We get on and we notice that the numbers are going the wrong way, so we get a little nervous, but I figured that we'd get there eventually, sicne the guy told us this train, so it couldn't have been wrong. But finally we hit 67th DRIVE. So we look all over the map for where we were and yeah, we were in QUEENS. Jesus. So we get off, get on another subway, and go back to Manhattan. Instead of meeting Brian at NYU as planned, we just went to the theater so we could enter lotto for Spelling Bee. On the way I got another good picture. While waiting for that to start, we entered Wicked lotto, just for the heck of it. Obviously we didn't win.

Brian showed up, and then Courtney, and we all entered Spelling Bee lotto. We went to go get pizza across the street. After that we met up with Eva/Courtney/Dave's friend Napolean. Went to get Jamba Juice, then back to the theater. No one one lotto but Dave, who didn't have his ID. Luckily some guy and his wife both won, so he sold Dave & I our tickets. So Dave and I had front row, and everyone else had standing room. The show was AMAZING. Completely the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my ENTIRE life. I looooooooved it. A LOT. Yepp. a lot.

Annnnd now I'm having lots of ADD so the rest of this trip is going to be bulleted. (shutupI'mlazy)
-Barfée-adorable. Hysterical. "See that? I brought back the robot."
-Jose Llana-Jesus=Love. <3
-Deborah S. Craig-Nicest person ever, perhaps? I loved her.
-Walked back to the hotel
-Ate dinner in Little Italy...after ending up back in Queens...again.
-Riding in the back of a pickup truck with Dave=hell.
-Uncomfortable and almost no sleep.
-dropped Dave off
-Went back to Eva's for the night

Monday:
Woke up around 11 or so I think. We got ready and then went to temple for Yom Kippur services. They were short and I actually really liked them. Then we went out for lunch. Eva dropped me off at home, and Brian was there. It was nice being able to see him before he left. Stupid jerk and his college-ness.

Tuesday:
...school...boring...funnn.

Wednesday:
Studyhall: boring.
Creative Writing: went to the Career Center for the Hofstra talk. I reallly enjoyed it and it really got me interested in the school. I had to leave early to go on the feildtrip.
Feild Trip: While we were waiting outside, my screen half broke. Meaning that when I moved my screen to anywhere other then the normal position, it turned bright white and I couldn't see anything. I had a slight panic attack but realized I could just deal with is.

I sat with Crystal on the bus and we went to the Erie Canal first. I spent the entire time walking around with Julian and talking. I adore that kid. I actually got a few good shots too!

1   2   3   4   5   6   7   8

Hmmm. After that we got back on the bus and went to a pumpkin patch. Crystal hung out with us this time. We walked through the corn maze and then spent some time taking pictures of this old tractor. Then we went to look at the animals. They definitally don't treat them that well at all. Crystal fed the pigs, but I chicked out. Luckily I got a few really good shots there too.

1   2   3   4   5   (and a few more that I haven't edited yet)

Hmm. After that we went to Cam's for lunch. Very yummy. Then we headed to Franklin Square. Here I got these shots:

1   2   3

Annnd right as I took that last picture, my camera completely died. I guess it still works but the screen is dead. Won't work at all. Clearly I had a massive panic attack. That was fun. The ride home sucked and I skipped Drawing and Painting to calm down wtih Cross in the photo room.

Thursday:
..school...boring...blah blah blah. I did get a new Creative Writing teacher though. I really like her.

Friday:
Studyhall:
..I don't remember.
Creative Writing: worked on the story I have to write. I change it from horror to psuedo-humor.
AP Art: printed some of the pictures from the last project. Of course by "some of" I mean one.
College Prep: ...nothing really.
Lunch: food & bitching. Awesome day in lunch.
Studyhall: did economics work in the art room & talked to Lauren.
Spanish: ...nothing really.
Economics: took the test then graded.
Drawing and Painting: ...yeah. I don't remember.

Came home to some amazing news.
1-EvaS is going to take me with her to the open house at Hofstra!
2-My dad is paying my mom money he owes her meaning I can get a new camera!!! I'm so happy. It's so amazing. I love it. It's beautiful, isn't it?
3-My brother came over for lunch.

The last part was one of the best parts. He came over with his friend Amber. We had chinese. Twas awesome. I really like her. They left around 9:30 or so. I pretty much went straight to bed.

Now it's Saturday and I'm tired, bored and stalling on those college apps that are taunting me.

My sanity greatly thanks your for not talking (writing) in the third person. I would've had to come through the computer and hurt you. I'm going to number my comments on this entry because I can.
1. God, it's fucking long.
2. I really dig that picture of that little kid pointing at the statue.
3. It greatly saddens me that Stephen Lynch is in a musical, he's much better suited to his own material.
4. People in NYC are weird.
5 You're weird.
6. Yay for new camera-ness.
I think that's it.
